About this course
Farm4SD Modular Training Course (R2) is a needs-oriented training modular package for farmers, and especially for small and medium farm holders, to support their upskilling so that the green/sustainable transformation of the agricultural sector and society becomes a reality.
Syllabus
It aims to equip farmers with specific knowledge and skills through the following four (4) modules:
Module 1: The Pillars of Sustainable Agriculture: The Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, European Green Deal, From Farm to Fork and Biodiversity Strategies and the New CAP
Module 2: Entrepreneurial Skills for the Sustainable Farmer: Sustainable Business Planning, Human Resources Management and Digitalization, Understanding the Market, Basic Marketing Principles
Module 3: Financial Literacy and Funding Opportunities for the Green Transformation of the Agricultural Sector: Financial Management and Budgeting of an agri-business, Identifying Public and Private Sources of Funding, Alternative Forms of Funding
Module 4: Essential Soft Skills for the Sustainable Farmer: Communication, Critical Thinking, Agility, Networking, Creativity, Emotional Intelligence, Self-management, Time-management and Teamwork
